Best Tech Tip

In class yesterday, we learned about the many helpful things the tech support office offers at Trinity. I had personally visited Winn 103 on numerous occasions because of problems with @#$% Clean Access Agent. I did not know about the technology office behind Java City in the library, and I plan on going there soon. Interestingly enough, I thought the most helpful advice was the warning against "torrenting" movies. I plead the fifth on this matter; however, I certainly will only be streaming videos in the future.

Introductory Post

My name is David Wimsatt. I am a sophomore football player at Trinity University. While I was born in Austin, Texas, I spent most of my life in Scranton, Pennsylvania, which is located in the North-Eastern part of the state. During middle school, I lived in Paris, France where I learned to speak the language somewhat proficiently.

When I'm not at school, I usually take on some kind of summer employment. This summer I worked at Rave Landscaping in Dallas, PA (not Texas!) as a laborer: digging, planting, and mulching as much as I could. While this might seem boring, the final product was often worth as much as the paycheck for me.

I have always enjoyed the outdoors, and I hope one day to work in some type of outside environment. Nay Aug Park in Scranton probably best represents why I enjoy nature. Despite its urban location, various scenic hikes and waterfalls make the park very unique.

I have only basic knowledge of computers (i.e. how to surf the web, and word processing), unless video games count as experience; but, I expect to learn much more as the semester proceeds.
